Welcome to the Love Carmarthen mobile application (“the App”), operated by Carmarthen Town Council (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Use.
1. Purpose of the App
The Love Carmarthen App provides local event information, navigation links, and optional calendar integration. The App is designed for informational purposes only.
2. Use of the App
You agree to use the App in accordance with applicable laws and community standards.
You may not:
- misuse the App
- attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or copy the App’s source code
- use the App to interfere with local services or public safety
The App is provided free of charge.
3. Event Information
All event information displayed in the App is sourced from lovecarmarthen.com.
We are not responsible for:
- event cancellations or changes
- incorrect or outdated event information
- third-party websites or services linked from the App
4. Permissions
The App may request access to:
- Location (only when getting directions)
- Calendar (only when adding an event)
Denying permissions will simply disable those features.
We do not store or collect this information.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and App design belong to Carmarthen Town Council.
You may not reproduce or reuse content without permission.
6. Liability Disclaimer
The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for:
- loss of data
- device malfunction
- reliance on event information
- third-party navigation services
7. Termination
We may revoke access to the App if misuse or harmful behavior is detected, though we do not track user identities.
8. Updates
We may update the App or these Terms at any time.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
